Destination number 34: Lyndon Top Caravan Park, Rutland. England’s smallest county is dominated by stunning rural countryside and is home to Rutland Water, the largest reservoir in the country. Lyndon Top Caravan Park comprises of 112 acres and runs right up to the shores of Rutland Water. Only 6 miles away are the historic market towns of Stamford, Oakham and Uppingham, perfect for discovering boutique shops and independent restaurants and bars. Destination number 35: Dodwell Park, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire. Only 2 miles from the historic town of Stratford-upon-Avon, this family-run campsite is set in beautiful countryside and offers a great range of on-site facilities including a shop and off-licence and is dog-friendly. Nearby attractions to visit include the house where William Shakespeare was born and spent his early childhood, the Royal Shakespeare and Swan Theatres, Stratford Armouries, The Butterfly Farm, Warwick Castle and an abundance of beautiful Cotswald villages and their thatched inns.
