Following the launch of our ‘Bucket List’ of locations to visit whilst on your motorhome travels, here are the destinations we have selected for February:
Destination number 28: Haggerston Castle Holiday Park, Berwick-upon-Tweed. Haggerson Castle is situated around several picturesque lakes, has award winning landscaped gardens and is a fantastic family holiday destination offering a range of sporting facilities as well as heated indoor and outdoor pools. This 5 star holiday park also offers a golf course, horse riding and fun things for the little ones including bouncy castle and trampolines. Destination number 29: Scarborough, Yorkshire. This beautiful town is located on the stunning Yorkshire Coast. It has two bays with fantastic sprawling beaches and a wonderful 12-century castle. Highlights include the Rotunda Museum, the Sea Life Sanctuary aquarium, the Peasholm Park Japanese Gardens and not to be missed is a ride on the Victorian Central Tramway funicular train which connects the South Bay and its harbour to the town centre. There is also a fantastic Open Air Theatre that attracts international stars and the new Alpamare Waterpark which has some of the longest water slides in the UK. Jacobs Mount Caravan and Camping Park is a great place to park your motorhome and is only 2 miles from the beach. It offers a fully licenced restaurant, play areas, an on-site shop and a launderette.
