Following the launch of our ‘Bucket List’ of locations to visit whilst on your motorhome travels, here are the destinations we have selected for December:

Destination number 22: Quantock Hills, Somerset. England’s first Area of Outstanding Beauty offers an abundance of activities and attractions for the whole family set across open hilltops, beautiful Jurassic Coastline, attractive villages and ancient oak combes. Kilve Beach is great for fossil hunting, the Coleridge Way provides stunning walks where you might see wild ponies and deer and a walk through Great Wood Forest will have you trekking over rock from Quantock’s extinct volcano. Other highlights to visit include Halsway Manor, the wild gardens at Fyne Court and Coleridge’s Cottage. Local legend declares that when you are on the Quantocks, you are never more than 1.7 miles away from a pub so there are plenty of places to eat and drink serving homemade food from local produce. Moorhouse Farm and Campsite offers a good place to park your motorhome, located between the Quantock Hills and the Jurassic Coast and is a quiet, rural, family-run site.
